At Upper Falls Nursery School, there are many opportunities for parents to connect with one another. While UFNS does sponsor several events for the families of the students each year, there are also unique opportunities for the parents to get together.
Morning CoffeeThe most frequent event are the monthly morning coffee events. Parents and other caregivers (younger siblings are also welcome) are invited gather in the school following drop-off to share in coffee and breakfast and socialize. It is a great opportunity to get to know other parents, share in parenting discussions, arrange for playdates, or just catch up with one another. Check the
calendar for dates.
Parent SocialsThe UFNS Board of Directors occasionally organizes Parent Socials on a weekend evening. Parents are invited to meet each other and the teachers to enjoy drinks and food away from the school and the children. This is a great opportunity for parents to connect with each other as well as the teachers and really enjoy themselves. For working parents, or those who are not involved in regular drop-off and pick-up at the school, it is a special time that they can be included. Check the
calendar for dates.
UFNS Board of Directors
Parents who want to become more involved with the school are invited to volunteer to serve on the Board of Directors. Parents on the Board typically meet one evening each month during the
school year to talk about issues that may arise at the school and assist the UFNS Director with school management. It is great opportunity to learn more about the school, get to know other parents, and share your ideas. If you would like to learn more about the Board, please talk to one of the current members.
